Harmonising Visual Identity Across Gates Notes Reports
Client: Managing Director, Gates Ventures
Challenge: Develop a design framework for Gates Notes’ diverse internal reports that enhances cohesion while differentiating the content and purpose of each, ranging from social media updates to misinformation analyses and market research.
Solution: A Tribe of HUMANS designed a visual system inspired by Bill Gates’ love of maths and science, using elemental building blocks to unify while allowing each report to retain distinctiveness. Icons and styles were created for each type, such as the quick, playful Feed and the detailed, robust Research Bulletin.
Outcome: Reports are now more visually engaging, coherent, and impactful for audiences across Gates Ventures. This is shaping what matters in knowledge-sharing: making insights accessible and memorable.
Making Renewables Work for Every Business

Challenge: Pearson wanted to revitalise its language learning offerings to keep pace with shifting markets and evolving user needs. The ambition was to build a framework that could adapt to changing behaviours while staying rooted in effective pedagogy.

We developed nine foundational experience principles, six transformative concepts, and three strategic design directions. Challenge: Understand how new mobility models would reshape jobs, cities, and everyday life in the next decade.
Solution: Our On-Demand Innovation Lab gathered insights across multiple cities using our Group Mind methodology. We produced 60 future narratives illustrating how work, living, and transportation could evolve through shared resourcefulness.

Challenge: After acquisition, Novasol needed a multi-year strategy to integrate brand strengths, improve technical capabilities, and modernise customer experience.
